2. Extra switches this brand needs
None. A mouse or keyboard plugged into the TV makes Shizuku's screens much easier than the remote.

3. Pair and start
Wireless debugging on TVs needs Android 13 or newer. Even then, pairing on the TV itself is hard, because you can't type into Shizuku's notification. Use a computer on the same network:
Set up adb on the computer: download SDK Platform Tools and open a terminal.
Find the TV's IP address in its network settings. Then connect, putting that address in place of the placeholder:
adb connect TV_IP_ADDRESS:5555On Android 13 or newer TVs you can pair with
adb pairinstead.Accept the debugging prompt on the TV.
On the TV, open Shizuku and open View command under Start by connecting to a computer.
Type that exact command into the terminal and press Enter.
Shizuku 13.6.0 has been seen running this way on a TCL Android TV with Android 11. This route was not tried on a Google TV device for this guide. A community fork adds TV pairing; this guide covers only the official app.

4. Keep Shizuku from stopping
A TV is usually plugged in all the time, so battery limits matter less. Shizuku still stops when the TV restarts; run the start command again.
Also do the four steps every phone needs: unrestricted battery, Disable adb authorization timeout, No data transfer as the USB default, and leaving debugging on. They are on the Wireless page.

5. Known problems on Android TV and Google TV

6. Turn it all back off
First, in each app that used Shizuku, undo what it changed, while Shizuku still runs. Some changes an app makes through Shizuku stay after Shizuku stops. Firewall and Fileglow have their own steps.
In Shizuku, switch off every app in the list of authorized apps.
Stop Shizuku with its stop option, or restart the phone.
Open Developer options, then Wireless debugging, then Paired devices, tap the shizuku entry, then Forget.
In Developer options, tap Revoke USB debugging authorizations. This removes every paired computer and device.
Turn off Network debugging if you turned it on.
Turn off Disable adb authorization timeout if you turned it on, and set Default USB configuration back to File transfer if you want.
Turn off Wireless debugging, then USB debugging.
Turn off the switch at the top of Developer options: Settings, then System, then Developer options.
Nothing else to reset on most TVs.
Uninstall Shizuku the normal way if you don't need it any more.
